Kevin Barr spent almost 30 years working with Major League Baseball players starting in 1993 — designing the training and physical development programs that keep elite athletes performing at the highest level. He worked with the Florida Marlins, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, and spent 14 years with the Tampa Bay Rays. In 2008, he was voted MLB Coach of the Year by his peers. Kevin has personally tracked over 12,000 youth athletes, building one of the most comprehensive athletic development datasets in the country. He also consulted for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Rich Rubel is a former Division I baseball player at the University of Connecticut. He has coached at South Lake Tahoe High School, served as hitting coach at Colorado School of Mines, and owned a premier training facility in Las Vegas. With a B.S. in Information Technology, Rich founded SwingCheck AI and PredictWell Health AI — the technology backbone powering Forward Motion USA's mission worldwide.
Jonny Gomes is a 13-year MLB veteran and two-time World Series Champion. Drafted in the 18th round by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2001, he was named Minor League Player of the Year and won a Triple-A Championship in 2003 before making his MLB debut that September. The accolades kept coming — a 2004 Arizona Fall League Championship, then Winter Ball Player of the Year and a Caribbean World Series title in 2004/05. He went on to championship runs with the 2008 Tampa Bay Rays (American League Champions), 2010 Cincinnati Reds (NL Central Champions), 2012 Oakland A's (AL West Champions), and the 2014 Oakland A's Wild Card team — earning World Series rings with the 2013 Boston Red Sox, where he hit the go-ahead three-run home run in Game 4, and the 2015 Kansas City Royals. He also played professionally in Japan. Today, Jonny serves as the Arizona Diamondbacks' Minor League Outfield & Baserunning Coordinator, has built a broadcasting career, partners with leading baseball data and ball-tracking companies, and is co-founder of Indie Pro, a full-service baseball advising and agency.
Johnny Damon is an 18-year MLB veteran and two-time World Series Champion. A Kansas native, he made his Major League debut in 1995 with the Royals, beginning a career that spanned the Royals, A's, Red Sox, Yankees, Tigers, Rays, and Indians. Damon is most famous for helping lead Boston to that franchise's first world championship in 86 years in 2004, and he played a pivotal role in the Yankees' 2009 World Series triumph. He finished his career with over 2,769 hits — 54th on the all-time MLB list — a .284 average, and 408 stolen bases. A lifelong athlete and founder of A-GAME Beverages, Johnny brings his championship experience and passion for player development to the Forward Motion Project Advisory Board.
Jorge Cantú is an American-born Mexican former professional baseball infielder who spent eight years in Major League Baseball (2004–2011), playing for the Tampa Bay Rays, Cincinnati Reds, Florida Marlins, Texas Rangers, and San Diego Padres. Born in McAllen, Texas and raised in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Jorge brings deep roots on both sides of the border. He posted a career batting line of .271/.316/.439 with 104 home runs and 476 RBI in 847 games, with a breakout 2005 season of 28 home runs and 117 RBI. He later played in the KBO League for the Doosan Bears and enjoyed a professional career spanning over 20 years. Jorge joins Forward Motion USA as Ambassador to Mexico, where he will lead our expansion efforts to bring free AI athletic development tools to youth athletes throughout Mexico.
